Biden's annual physical shows "no new concerns": White House doctor

The president "continues to be fit for duty," according to a memo sent by White House physician Kevin O'Connor and made public following the president's yearly physical on Wednesday.

Why this matters The evaluation is made at a time when Biden, 81, is the target of more and more criticism over his age and mental health.

According to a recent study, 67% of voters believe he is too old to hold the office for another four years.
Driving the news: After Biden's yearly physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, O'Connor wrote in the memo that he "fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations."

Biden, according to O'Connor, is a "healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male."

Two medical conditions O'Connor mentioned that Biden had include "obstructive sleep apnea" and "a-fib with normal ventricular response."
Biden's medical history also includes seasonal allergies, spine arthritis, hyperlipidemia (high blood lipid levels), and chronic acid reflux, also referred to as gastroesophageal reflux.
Biden's health issues "remain stable and well-controlled," and he "takes three common prescription medications and three common over-the-counter medications."
Zoom out: In an earlier release this month, the special counsel report referred to the president as a "elderly man with a poor memory."
